Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter or Architect for a contract position in North Georgia. The role involves producing construction drawings using Revit and supporting projects from initial design through completion. The ideal candidate will have a background in architectural design with a strong understanding of healthcare, veterinary, government, and commercial facilities. This is an in-office position working directly with senior staff in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural drawings and complete construction documents using Revit.
  
  
• Work closely with principal architects and other team members throughout the design and construction process.
  
  
• Design and draft for projects in healthcare (human and animal), government, multi-family, and commercial sectors.
  
  
• Contribute to design solutions that align with client expectations and industry standards.
  
  
• Support project phases from design development to construction administration.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of architectural drafting or design experience.
  
  
• Proficiency in Revit drafting software is required.
  
  
• Experience working on medical, veterinary, government, or commercial building projects.
  
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  
  
• Ability to manage projects from construction drawings through to project closeout.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work on pediatric clinics, veterinary hospitals, multifamily housing, or restaurant facilities.
  
  
• Exposure to all project phases including feasibility, programming, design, documentation, and construction administration.

Location: Rome, GA 30161
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour (flexible depending on experience)
Assignment Term: 6-month contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
