Cardiology - Physician at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University - Temple Health summary:

A non-invasive cardiologist faculty member at Temple Health providing outpatient and inpatient cardiac care, including noninvasive cardiac testing. Responsibilities include supporting clinical, academic, and research missions with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration within the Temple Health system. Candidates must have board certification, fellowship training, and eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure, contributing to cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, intervention, and rehabilitation.

The Section of Cardiology at Temple Health is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist to join its growing faculty. The new faculty member will support Temple’s clinical, academic, and research missions. Clinical responsibilities include outpatient office practice, inpatient consultative cardiology, and noninvasive cardiac testing at the Jeanes/Fox Chase campus of Temple University Hospital, with opportunities for collaboration across Temple University Hospital Main Campus and the broader Temple Health system. Candidates must be trained in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging and possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania State Medical License. Rank and compensation are commensurate with experience.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board Certification: Board Certification in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Cardiology.
  • Fellowship: Successful completion or completing an accredited fellowship in Cardiology.
  • Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated clinical expertise and interest in ECHO, stress tests, and EKGs.
  • Licensure: Ability to obtain medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to flourish in a fast-paced and patient-centric environment.
  • Preferred Training: Nuclear training is preferred.
