In this position, you will be transporting loaded and empty trailers, singles or doubles, from GFS Distribution Centers or from point-to-point via night transit. You could be doing both single day and layover routes - one or two nights a week. Feel safe and secure at a company that values and respects you. Schedule: 3rd shift - 4-5 days, Sunday through Thursday night. Pay: Drivers average $75,000 - $80,000. Daily base pay, plus component pay. Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered. Requirements: At least 21 years of age, Class A CDL License at hire, Minimum of 1 year driving experience with your class A, Doubles (T) endorsement required, Must be able to push and pull up to 50lbs (connecting trailers), Must be able to read, write and communicate in English, Successfully pass a drug test and background check, Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards, Registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with electronic consent.
