At our Mentor, OH site, we’re hiring for CNC Mill and CNC Swiss Lathe operators on 1st or 3rd shift . Bring a year of experience — or bring your drive — because we’ll train entry‑level machinists who are ready to learn.

Your mission

Own quality from setup to shipment. Start by decoding prints and planning sheets. Choose the right tools, confirm fixtures meet spec for sizes, depths, and angles, and secure the work. Load control media — tape, card, or disk — or pull programs from the database. Set depths, speeds, feeds, and coolant flow. Prove out the process, and perform manual programming during setups (Supervisor approved). Keep an eye on the displays, change tools per the sequence, measure parts to the blueprint, and tweak controls to stay in tolerance. When automation stumbles, switch to manual, collaborate with supervisors/programmers to resolve control media errors, and leave every machine cleaner than you found it. Safety first, PPE always — and help new teammates ramp up.

What you’ll need to succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of CNC mill/lathe experience and/or training; we will train entry‑level candidates
• Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions
• Solid math with units of measure, fractions, decimals, and whole numbers
• Blueprint and operations sheet fluency to determine setups and machining operations
• Experience setting up/operating CNC machines and maintaining data in the Traverse Manufacturing System
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
