Seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Culinary Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic culinary team.

Position Overview

The Culinary Administrative Assistant plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in helping our kitchen operations run efficiently. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for food, systems, and organization.

Working closely with our chefs and culinary leadership, this role will support a range of tasks, including recipe documentation and preparation sheet maintenance, as well as vendor communication and compliance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate culinary team schedules and maintain up-to-date calendars
  • Assist with menu planning and recipe documentation, including data entry, proofing, and cataloging
  • Maintain prep sheets and update culinary documents regularly
  • Support recipe costing and updates where applicable
  • Conduct culinary research and source potential new vendors or ingredients
  • Prepare internal reports and presentations for the culinary department
  • Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments as needed
  • Maintain compliance and regulatory documentation (e.g., food safety, health regulations)

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a hospitality or culinary environment
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience using Caterease or similar catering software a must. 
  • Experience with purchasing and food costing software 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, kitchen-adjacent environment
  • Passion for food, hospitality, and supporting operational excellence
