Federal Client seeks temporary support to assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Controller, Staff Accountant, and Budget Analyst with day-to-day financial management activities and special projects to include the following:


Processing accounts payable to include vendor invoice payments in client's financial system (Momentum Financials from CGI Federal)
Completing annual internal control assessments over CBO's key business processes
ssisting with quarterly reviews of client's spend plan and open obligations
Interviewing stakeholders, gathering information, and documenting client's standard operating procedures
ssisting with client's year-end activities

The following capabilities are the minimum set of skills required to perform the associated tasks:


Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, is highly preferred.
Familiarity of financial accounting software programs/suites.
Background or degree in finance or business.
Some knowledge of the federal government budget is preferred.
The Contractor employee must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
