Role Description

Freelance Videographer (Project-Based – Chicago Area)

Location: Chicago, IL (On-Site Shoots Required)

We're expanding our freelance videographer network in Chicago. This is a freelance, project-based role—most shoots are one-day productions, with some clients requiring monthly content. While editing and prep can be remote, on-site filming in the Chicago area is essential.

You’ll partner with our creative team to produce short-form content, lifestyle visuals, and branded storytelling that reflects the premium feel of our clients' brands. You’ll be plugged into content days and brand shoots on a flexible, freelance basis.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in video production and on-site shooting
• Confident with camera operation, lighting setups, and shoot-day logistics
• Able to work independently, handle run-and-gun style shoots, and deliver high-quality footage
• Own camera and lighting equipment (Blackmagic or similar preferred)
• Comfortable capturing both interviews and B-roll
• Editing experience is a plus, but not required
• Background in digital marketing or branded content is a bonus
