DigitalCM is seeking a Full-Time Game Artist (On-site Tampa, FL)

Job Description

DigitalCM is currently looking for a passionate and hardworking teammate to help build 3D assets to assist in our Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality Applications. Our team members are dedicated designers and developers that deliver specialized training, simulation, graphics, and 3D modeling. Commitment to the production of sophisticated designs and high-quality products are essential to success in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ability to model high resolution game environments and props
• Have a high-level of understanding with materials/shaders
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment
• Excels in scene lighting and rendering techniques
• Ability to create and edit game character and object animations

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of 3D modeling or gaming artist experience
• Bachelor’s degree in 3D Modeling, Game Design, Modeling and Simulation, or a technically related degree or comparable experience
• Excellent texturing/UV mapping skills
• Experience working in Unity
• Expert in either Maya, Solidworks, CAD or 3Ds Max
• Knowledge of texturing inside Substance Painter
• Advanced level understanding of Photoshop
• Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
• Comply with the provisions of the corporations Standard Practice Procedures manual and DoD 5220.22-M when handling classified material to include generating, marking, storing, handling, and destroying of classified material
• Comply with policies and procedures as set forth in the company’s Handbook of Policy and Procedures

Additional Skills

• Experience in 3D animation
• Ability to work effectively with small to large teams in a results-driven environment
