About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Analytics & Insights to spearhead the advancement of data collection, analysis, and reporting methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of analytical and insight services, ensuring a competitive edge through the development of a unified philosophy and operating model for analytics. This role involves direct delivery of high-standard analytics, research, and insight services, as well as the evaluation and management of internal and third-party data sources. The Head of Analytics will also be tasked with auditing and enhancing the decision-making process, staying abreast of new data technologies, and leading the development of a technology roadmap in collaboration with the technology team. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, math, or engineering, with a preference for additional qualifications such as a master's or PhD. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field, deep soccer knowledge, and a proven track record of leading data functions are essential. The role requires demonstrable expertise in databases, database design, and using APIs for data management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to present results clearly, and a talent for building strong working relationships. Responsibilities also include model development for player and team performance, producing various reports, and ensuring the clear and confidential communication of data.
