mmigration Paralegal
The Nemecek Firm. is seeking a detail-oriented, driven individual, who is looking for a career as a paralegal.
***This is not a remote position. In order to qualify for the position, a candidate must be willing to work at our office in Columbus, Ohio. To qualify for this position, candidates must have a bachelor's degree. Fluency in English at a native level is also required.
The paralegal will assist attorney(s) in the preparation and filing of immigration applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and a strong passion for helping immigrants. Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
Key job duties include:
- Communicating with clients and third parties to obtain documents.
- Reviewing documents from clients.
- Drafting forms and legal documents for attorney review.
- Tracking tasks and managing deadlines.
- Learning and understanding immigration processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree + at least 1 year of office experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English at a native level.
- Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
- Strong writing and organization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
