Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in searching for an Inventory Control Specialist for the Fulfillment Department in Mebane, North Carolina. The position is temp-to-perm with a good opportunity for long-term career position.

Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Day Shift - Monday through Friday

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels through effective tracking and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor stock levels and manage orders.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in inventory control operations.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards during materials handling and heavy lifting tasks.

Skills

• Strong background in supply chain management and logistics.
• Proficient in warehouse distribution practices and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent negotiation skills for effective contract management.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, including MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and 3PL (Third Party Logistics).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective merchandising and stocking practices.
