Primary responsibilities

The Logistics and Operations Associate role is an on-site position responsible for supporting efforts within the sUSV program dedicated to operations and technical writing. Daily tasks include:

  • Assisting with resource planning and logistics for in-house production vessel trials and larger testing events requiring travel including arrangement of vessels and captains, equipment shipments
  • Administrative tasks and tracking of documentation required for: vessel trials compliance, delivery of production vessels to the customer, inventory of vessels, visitor access forms (for team travel), vessel configuration(s)
  • Communication and coordination with sUSV Production Lead, technicians performing vessel trials and travel, and Operations Lead
  • Assist Operations Lead with logistics support for planned training events

Candidates should expect to occasionally participate in on-site technical support for delivered products. Typical travel is < 10% and within the United States.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly organized, detail-oriented individual desiring a career in the maritime industry and willing to work as part of a fast-paced team. A positive attitude, trainability, and competency to follow instructions are essential. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and must be able to pass a background check. The candidate must be able to acquire and hold a SECRET level government clearance, if required.

Required

Experience with resource planning with regards to day-to-day operations (scheduling)

Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, PPT) and Adobe programs

Team-oriented with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment

High standards & a commitment to a high level of workmanship

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks

Schedule-oriented

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred but not required

Familiar with boat operations

Active SECRET level government clearance
