Aegis worldwide is partnered with a reputable manufacturing firm, searching for an Maintenance Manager who will oversee the maintenance department, balancing both hands-on technical work and team leadership. Responsibilities are split between facility maintenance (40%) and production machinery (60%). We are looking for a strong leader with great character to help maintain and develop the maintenance team and department.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and prioritizing maintenance activities, ensuring preventive maintenance is executed using MaintainX .
• Leading a team of one supervisor and four technicians, with a focus on task management and technician engagement.
• Performing troubleshooting (60% mechanical, 40% electrical) across pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, and motors.
• Handling purchasing of maintenance-related items.
• Splitting time between the production floor (50%) and the office (50%), depending on operational needs.
• Contributing to budgeting discussions when necessary (no direct P&L responsibility).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance management experience.
• Demonstrated longevity and stability in previous roles.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and task management platforms (MaintainX preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including work with up to 480V and basic PLC knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, and motors.
• Proven ability to lead and prioritize tasks for a team.
• Familiarity with maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
