Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 3rd Shift at our Highland, IL location!

The hourly rate for this position is $24.56 per hour, and a $0.50 shift differential. The core hours are 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m, Sunday-Thursday. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What you’ll do:

In this function, you will:

• Successfully operate rigging equipment to include nylon straps, wire braided straps, wire braided chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment, and spreader bars.

• Successfully operate a fork truck, crane, and combi lift

• Wear fall protection body harness and lanyard

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution required.

• Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (i.e. fork trucks, cranes, combi-lifts).

• No relocation is offered for this position. Only applicants located within 50 miles of Highland, IL will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Manufacturing experience.

• Prior overhead crane operating experience.

Position Success Criteria:

• Availability to work overtime as required.
