The City of Riverside, Department of Marketing & Communications, is accepting applications for the position of Media Production Assistant - Part Time to fill two (2) vacancies. The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months.
Under general supervision, the Media Production Assistant, Part-Time, supports various aspects of media production, including video commentating and City related event coverage at a part-time, on-call, as-needed capacity. Additional duties may include participation in media-related events and broadcasts to provide analysis and updates.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Education: High school graduation or satisfactory equivalent (GED) Experience: One year of video production related experience. Necessary Special Requirements:
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Work may involve exposure to various weather conditions, loud noise levels, and crowded environments. Employees may be required to stand for extended periods, walk long distances across venues, and carry or set up media equipment. Work may also include irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules
