Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team. Positions are available on 2nd shift ($1.50/hr shift differential), offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves working in the columns area, welding steel columns for racking systems, and participating in fabrication work in the south weld building.

***Open to candidates coming out of LCCTC, Thaddeus Stevens, or other welding programs***

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel columns used for racking systems.
• Work in the columns area and south weld building, engaging in fabrication and jig making.
• Ensure all welds meet quality standards and pass the MIG weld test.
• Read and interpret blueprints for accurate fabrication and fitting.
• Maintain and utilize personal welding equipment, including steel toes and welding shield.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in fabrication and fitting.

Work Environment

The work environment is typical of a fabrication plant, with varying conditions such as being hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It is a dirty and dusty environment at the Maple Ave location, while the Industrial Circle location, where bulletproof windows are manufactured, is much cleaner.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, Pennsylvania

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
