Manufacturing company in San Marcos, CA is hiring a welder to join there team. The right candidate will be responsible for the below:

Overview:

To weld product following a prescribed sequence of steps to ensure quality, efficiency and the safety of welder. To perform welding using Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) / MIG Welding.
Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with measuring tape, squares, straightedges, calipers, or other measuring devices or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
This position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:

Essential functions

• Follow all safety and quality standards and procedures
• Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
• Plans details of working procedure and tools and material requirements.
• Sets up fixtures and performs welding per instructions to assure quality and efficiency requirements are met.
• Performs quality inspections to assure product meets all required standards
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• May preform some assembly as defined by business needs
• Performs related duties as required.

Experience:

• 6 Months in a formal Welder apprenticeship program or preferred
• Ability to communicate with final line assembler and supervision.
• Completion of apprenticeship or inhouse training

Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm
