One of our clients is seeking a Recovery Counselor to provide substance abuse & mental health services in an outpatient recovery treatment center.
Must be at least an ASSOCIATE'S LEVEL - BACHELOR'S LEVEL CANDIDATES HIGHLY PREFERRED!

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide assessment services as needed; determine proper level of care.
* Maintain an active caseload of patients which includes consumers with mental health, behavioral health, & addiction treatment.
* Deliver therapeutic services including: individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
* Maintain required patient records including treatment plans, group and individual progress notes, and case management notes.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited university, or bachelors degree with equivalent experience, or associates degree with certification and equivalent experience.
*Must be available for part-time scheduling on both Saturday and Sunday.
* Minimum of one year experience working with substance use disorders.
* Experience must include one (1) year of direct work experience with the chemically dependent, MAT (medication assisted treatment) and/or co-occurring patients (MH & ADD).
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: PA State Criminal Record Check
* Must be able to produce valid CPR and First Aid certification
