As a Pharmacy Intern, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting pharmacists and pharmacy team members in delivering top-notch patient experiences following state and federal regulations.
• Utilizing pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, as well as processing prescriptions accurately.
• Engaging with customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
• Learning and adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures to prepare for a successful future as a pharmacist.
• Building strong relationships with customers and delivering expert advice on health and wellness.
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team and healthcare professionals to provide patient care services, including medication therapy management.
• Reporting any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty and upholding our commitment to quality improvement.
• Handling cash and processing sales with accuracy.
• Assisting in inventory management, including placing and receiving pharmaceutical orders, while ensuring optimal store conditions.

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy program.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: Six months of experience in a retail environment and prior experience with Walgreens.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling, including counting, measuring, and weighing.

The current salary range for this position is $16.50 per hour to $25.00 per hour, depending on various factors such as skills, experience, and location.
