Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and pharmacy team members to enhance patient experience and support customer service excellence.
• Utilize pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and gather critical patient information.
• Follow and advocate for pharmacy policies, procedures, and customer service practices, laying the groundwork for your future career as a pharmacist.

Customer Interaction

• Welcome and assist customers by addressing their needs and resolving any issues to create a positive shopping experience.
• Adopt and share customer service best practices with fellow team members to ensure a delightful experience for every customer.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers for ongoing service excellence.

Operational Excellence

• Work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to assist in various pharmacy practices in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Comply with all Walgreen Co. standards, including accurate processing of prescriptions and addressing any errors immediately.
• Engage in inventory management and maintain a well-organized and clean pharmacy department.
• Ensure the effective use of cash registers while managing customer transactions and assisting with OTC searches.
• Participate in training and continue to expand your knowledge within the healthcare and pharmacy landscape.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a pharmacy program.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a retail setting is a plus.
• Prior experience with Walgreens is an advantage.
• Strong math skills to ensure accurate prescription filling.

The current salary range for this position is $16.50 - $25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This role will remain open until filled.
