A pioneering 3D concrete printing company, is seeking a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to assist with the development of large-scale robotic platforms and intricate end-effectors. As a leader in the field of 3D concrete printing, we want you to join us in shaping the future of efficient and sustainable construction on commercial job sites.

Position Overview: We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of our 3D printing systems. This role involves designing precision components, producing manufacturing-ready drawings, and ensuring quality standards for machined parts. You’ll work closely with Systems Engineers and end-users to ensure seamless hardware-software integration and successful field deployment. This position requires a strong foundation in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Product Design Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360, Rhino 8, or equivalent).

• Experience creating machining drawing sets and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency with design for manufacturability (DFM) design for assembly (DFA) principles, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Familiarity with material properties and manufacturing processes.
• Basic scripting (e.g., Python or Grasshopper) for parametric or generative mechanical design
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness and availability to travel up to 15% for on-site system deployment and support.
• Experience with digital fabrication tools and robotic systems (e.g., KUKA robotic arms) preferred.
• Exposure to software-hardware integration projects preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design and system design roles preferred.
