\nRadiology Interventional Technologist - Radiology Interventional Technologist
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work under the direction of a Radiologist performing invasive procedures for pathological evaluation
\n• At least one year of IR Neuro experience required
\n• Work with Phillips and Siemens equipment
\n• Experience with MergePass and Cerner EMR preferred
\n• Handle 2-5 patients per day in a lower volume department
\n• Priority focus on IR with neuro specialization to accommodate patient needs
\n• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations
\n• Prepare contrast media, medications, and IV solutions for patient administration
\n• Set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment
\n• Actively assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures
\n• Demonstrate radiation protection principles including patient shielding and ALARA techniques
\n• Complete PACS image resolution and quality assurance procedures
\n• Perform RIS study indexing including study begin, end, and completion
\n• Maintain documentation in medical records and radiology information systems
\n• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
\n• Must maintain Healthcare Provider certification (BLS)
\n• Must be registered with ARRT with advanced registry in CI, VI, or CV
\n• Must maintain required continuing medical education hours
