ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.

\nRN - Med Surg Rehab
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with 4 total weekend shifts required per 4 weeks
\n• Holiday coverage based on unit coverage needs
\n• Must have Level 1 trauma experience - required
\n• Strong Med Surg experience required, rehab experience preferred
\n• Patient ratios: RN 1:6, Tech 1:8
\n• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
\n• Must complete pass/fail SIMs Lab on day 1 including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
\n• Required certifications: BLS, FIM
\n• Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
\n• Men must be clean shaven for fit test
\n• Must have own vehicle for transportation
\n• Dress code: Slate grey scrubs
\n• Electronic medical record system: Cerner
\n• Float to any Med Surg unit as needed
\n• Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts
\n• Work with 90% neuro population including TBI, brain tumor resection, CVA, transplant patients
\n• Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds
\n• Provide acute Med Surg care including IV therapy and wound care
\n• High level of communication and personal involvement with patients and families required
\n• 50-mile radius rule enforced
Facility:
\nThis healthcare facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center with a specialized 52-bed neuro rehabilitation unit. The facility features comprehensive support services including 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services, SWAT RN team for difficult IV access, and three rehab physicians who round daily with on-call coverage at night. The unit maintains a low stimulation environment focused on neuro rehabilitation with an average length of stay of 19-21 days and provides intensive therapy services 5 days per week for 3 hours per day.
