• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/22/2025 – End: 3/23/2026)\n
• Charting System: Epic EMR\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,570 - $1,680\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi or compact state\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent MedSurg or Telemetry nursing experience (Burn unit experience preferred but not required)\n
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications\n
• Proficiency with Epic EMR charting\n
• Ability to complete fingerprinting (remote or in-person at Jackson or Grenada campus)\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemption accepted with documentation)\n
• Previous travel nurse experience is a plus\n

\n\nBurn Unit RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to burn patients in an acute MedSurg environment\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic EMR\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
• Maintain a safe and supportive clinical setting for patients and staff\n
• Manage patient ratios of 1:3 (occasionally 1:4)\n
• Participate in holiday coverage as needed with flexible scheduling\n
• Comply with hospital policies, including vaccination and fingerprinting requirements\n
