About the Role
The organization is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of Safety and Pharmacovigilance to spearhead our unwavering commitment to patient safety and seamlessly integrate safety into all facets of drug development. This influential role will involve leading the establishment and expansion of the safety and risk management function, ensuring strategic oversight and execution of every safety and pharmacovigilance endeavor while ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will possess an M.D., D.O., or M.B.B.S. along with a minimum of 10 years of global experience in drug safety within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors. Proficiency in FDA safety regulations, ICH guidelines, EU GVP, and a comprehensive understanding of global safety regulations is essential, along with expertise in safety database applications and signal detection.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, combined with exceptional communication capabilities to influence both senior leadership and external stakeholders, are fundamental for this position.
