The compensation range for this role is $24.75 - $28.87 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as qualifications, skills, experience, education, and location. Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products. Position Purpose Under supervision, prepares and applies finishes to aircraft furniture according to specifications, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Assists team members to enhance techniques and workmanship. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Prepares furniture for finish and disassembly using blueprints and specifications. Performs repairs and surface finishing on aircraft furniture, ensuring quality and adherence to standards. Uses various tools, materials, and equipment for finishing tasks. Follows safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, using PPE as needed. Utilizes material tracking systems for parts demand and work sign-off. Additional Functions Collaborates with lead and skilled technicians to improve processes using Lean Six Sigma techniques. Performs other duties as assigned. Other Requirements Knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Physical ability to climb ladders, work in restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift. Computer literacy required.
