Based in Charlotte, NC– 100% Onsite | up to 50% Regional Travel throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Savannah, GA and potentially other areas of Deep South, primarily by car. (Car, Gas, Insurance all provided!) huge perk! Compensation

• Base Salary: $95K (This compensation reflects the full approved compensation for the role)
• Annual Bonus: 15% discretionary

Vaco/Highspring is conducting a confidential search on behalf of one of our national clients, a well-established organization with a high-volume regional field operation. This role is part of a managed partnership engagement with Vaco/Highspring and is being supported through a centralized delivery process in line with client expectations. Due to client confidentiality, full details will be shared with short-listed candidates only. We are seeking a  Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)for a diversified Fortune 500 company to support a large, distributed hourly workforce across metro and coastal markets in the Southeast. This is a hands-on role focused on field-level HR support, employee relations, compliance, and labor partnership across regional locations. Role Overview

• This is a 100% onsite position based in the Charlotte-Area, with 25–50% travel throughout the Carolina’s and Savannah, Georgia.
• Candidates must currently reside in or near the Charlotte-Area.
• Remote or relocation candidates will not be considered due to the urgency of this hiring need.
• The HRBP will provide daily HR support and employee relations guidance to local managers and field operations teams in a high-volume, metric-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support HR needs across union and non-union field sites.
• Assist with workforce planning, retention, onboarding, and engagement strategies.
• Respond to employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, and coaching.
• Participate in labor relations efforts, including grievances and policy interpretation.
• Analyze workforce metrics and recommend improvements in partnership with field operations.
• Coordinate with other HRBPs and Engagement Specialists for consistent support across regions.
• Help prepare field teams for seasonal or project-based workforce ramp-ups.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of advancing HR experience in distributed or field-based settings, with demonstrated impact across multiple locations or business units.
• Direct exposure to union environments and labor relations is preferred.
• Able and willing to travel regionally 25–50% (primarily by car).
• Proficient in workforce data analysis and HR best practices in hourly workforces.
• Operates independently with sound judgment and effective communication across levels.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
