Job Description
Excel Academy is a high-quality, after-school/weekend supplemental education center that focuses on helping K-12 students with school-related subjects, SAT/ACT Prep, including school bootcamps, and college counseling, including the application process. Though we have locations in Henderson and Summerlin, we are looking to fill positions primarily in our Henderson location. Our classes are both onsite and online, and we also offer SAT/ACT bootcamps in local high schools. If you like watching kids scream in happiness from receiving a good score on their exams or gaining acceptance to colleges, this is the place to work.
Currently, we are looking to fill a few positions: SAT/ACT English, Reading, Math, and Science tutoring part.
Potential candidates should know how the ACT and SAT are constructed and be confident in their problem-solving techniques. Previous experience teaching SAT, ACT, or AP is a big plus. Candidates may be asked to take a short (30-45 min) ACT or SAT diagnostic test in their respective subject areas.
Responsibilities:
Instruct students in SAT/ACT preparation, focusing on math, reading, and writing skills.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs.
Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum and share best practices in teaching.
Write session evaluation reports to the management team and clients
Other Requirements:
Bachelor Degree required
Be punctual, courteous, and respectful
Have a strong work ethic and effective communication skills
Have basic proficiency in using computers for reports, updates, and evaluations.
Have a passion for making kids’ dreams come true.

*A 30-minute Demo Class is required for every candidate.
*Compensation: Depending on Experience and Qualification
